What is ChartCoder?

ChartCoder is a standalone tool by SmartCoding.ai that lets healthcare professionals paste outpatient and clinic notes and get instant AI-powered ICD-10 and CPT coding suggestions. Currently optimized for office visits and ambulatory care documentation; inpatient coding support is coming soon.

It's powered by the same AI engine behind the SmartCoding.ai platform, which serves healthcare practices, billing services, and freelance billers with comprehensive coding, claim generation, and revenue cycle tools.

How it works

When you paste a clinical note, our AI reads the documentation and identifies relevant diagnosis codes (ICD-10) and procedure codes (CPT). Each suggestion comes with a confidence score and reasoning so you can quickly evaluate the results.

Privacy & Security

Your clinical notes are processed securely and are never stored on our servers after analysis. We follow healthcare data handling best practices. Note previews are only saved to your history if you explicitly opt in.
